Alejandro Castro is a Physician Associate at South Texas Bone and Joint, primarily working with foot and ankle patients alongside Dr. Christopher Larkins, our fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon. Castro graduated from The University of Texas-Pan American in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Kinesiology. He then worked at the Marquez Orthopedic Surgery Center & Sports Medicine as a Physical Therapy Technician while completing his Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at The University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley. After graduating, he moved to Corpus Christi and began working as a PA at Texas Federal Wellness Health & Rehab. In 2021, he joined South Texas Bone and Joint as a PA. He is involved in multiple organizations including the Rio Grande Valley PA Society, the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as swimming, football, basketball, baseball, fishing, and pickleball.
