Dr. Joel Obregon, PT, DPT
Joel Obregon PT Bio

Originally of Kingsville TX, Joel Obregon, PT, DPT graduated from Texas A&M University-Kingsville earning a Bachelor’s degree of Exercise Science in 2014. 

 

Dr. Obregon was awarded the Distinguished Graduate from the College of Education and Human Performance at Texas A&M University-Kingsville and was honored when he received the Texas American College of Sports Medicine Major of the Year. Dr. Obregon also served as President and co-founder of the Pre-Physical Therapy Association at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.  Dr. Obregon researched and presented at the Texas American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Annual Meeting, Fort Worth, TX and published in the International Journal of Exercise Science his study titled, “The Effects of Kinesio® Tape on Shoulder Joint Range of Motion.” His passion for physical therapy resulted in his acceptance to the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of  Health Professions Lubbock, Texas where he earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2017. Dr. Obregon and his wife, Kacee live in Corpus Christi, Texas.
