Dr. Kyle Wilson, M.D.
Kyle Wilson, M. D. completed his fellowship training in Sports Medicine at Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Jackson Mississippi. He completed his Orthopaedic Residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX and his Surgical Internship at The University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX. Dr. Wilson acquired his medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX and his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology, B.A. in Chemistry, Magna Cum Laude at Texas Lutheran University, Seguin, Tx.
Dr. Wilson has received honors and awards including the UTMB Department of Orthopaedics Outstanding Resident Award, Orthopaedic In-Training Exam High Score Award, Golden Bone Excellence in Teaching Award, Excellence in Resident Research Award, Orthopaedic In-Training Exam Master Award, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, Gold Humanism Honor Society, Dr. Walter Junius Hildebrand Academic and Service Scholarship, Shriner’s Summer Research Scholarship, Texas Lutherans University Outstanding Service Award and the American Southwest Conference Academic All-Conference. His local, national, and international service includes affiliation with the UTMB Orthopaedic Residency Curriculum Committee, a medical mission in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, designation as an AAOS Resident Assembly Program Delegate, and a medical mission at Maua Methodist Medical Center – Maua, Kenya.
