Amber Ferrrand PT Bio

Originally of San Antonio TX, Amber Ferrand PT, DPT graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with her Bachelors of Science in Mathematics.

Realizing her life journey, Dr. Ferrand graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word, inaugural class, Doctor of Physical Therapy Program; where she was involved in many extracurricular functions and volunteer opportunities. Dr. Ferrand was the head of the Professional Student Leadership Committee at the UIW PT program, an active member of the Sigma Alpha Pi- National Society of Leadership and Success, and was the local winner and national presenter for the Clarion Interprofessional Case Competition 2 years in a row. Dr. Ferrand was awarded a spot as a student research poster co-presenter at the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting in 2014. Nominated by colleagues and faculty, crediting her academic success, vast extracurricular record, and professional membership involvement, Dr. Ferrand was awarded the APTA National Mary McMillian Scholarship Award 2015. Dr. Ferrand permanently resides in Corpus Christi with her husband Daniel and their son.
